Detailed itinerary;
DAY 01: DAR ES SALAAM – SELOUS GAME RESERVE
Pick up from home and depart for Selous Game Reserve. This will be a 5 – 6 hours drive depending on the conditions of the road. You will be will provided with lunch boxes. Arrival time will be late afternoon. Thereafter depart for the late afternoon boat safaris and overnight at Selous Lodge, Half board (lunch and dinner).

DAY 02: SELOUS GAME RESERVE
Start the day with a walking safari followed by a full day game drive. The walking safari starts as early as 06.30, bringing you close to some of the smallest animals and plants that you would not see on a vehicle game drive. Thereafter depart for a full day game drive and overnight at Lodge, full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner).

DAY 03: SELOUS – DAR ES SALAAM
After breakfast, depart for Dar es Salaam and drop off at home.
Selous Game Reserve covering 50,000sq km, this is the largest game reserve in the Africa. The reserve supports an enormous number of elephants, buffalos and wildebeests. Other rare species include the African Hunting dog. The park provides home for some of the last remaining black rhinos.

    DAY 1: DAR ES SALAAM – SAADANI NATIONAL PARK
    Pick up from Hotel/home and drive to Saadani National Park which is Approximate 4 hours. On arrival, depart for the game drive and overnight at Lodge, full board.

    DAY 2: SAADANI NATIONAL PARK
    Start the morning with a boat safari returning to the lodge for Lunch. Spend the day in the
    park and the Park returning to the lodge for. Overnight at Lodge, full board.

    DAY 3: SAADANI – DAR ES SALAAM
    Morning and afternoon game safari and thereafter depart for Dar es Salaam.

    Saadani is Tanzania’s only protected coastal wildlife preserve was gazetted in 1964. It covers an area of some 250 sq km from the Wami river in the south to the Mligaji river in the north, with the Moshi railway line as the western boundary.
    Saadani is located in what is historically a very important coastal strip emerging as an important trading post, appearing on maps from the early 19th century. The village also contains a ruined fort, built by Arab slavers in the last century.
    This fort later became a German Boma (administrative centre) after 1888. There is a further ruin in the village of a mosque built in the mid-19th century. In 2002 Saadani was gazetted to become Tanzania’s 13th National Park and it is hoped that the upgrade to National Park status will bring improved infrastructure, access and anti-poaching activities, as well as the reintroduction of various animal species.

      DAY 1: ARRIVAL – LAKE MANYARA
      Arrival – special meet and greet at the Kilimanjaro International Airport by our representative. You will be
      transferred to Arusha town for lunch the drive to Lake Manyara National park.
      Enjoy an afternoon game drive in this small but attractive park.
      The famous tree-climbing Lions are but one lure of Lake Manyara. The other attractions of the area around this Tanzania lodge are Elephant, Monkey, Antelope, Crocodile and Hippopotamus. Masses of pink Flamingos and majestic birds of prey, along with other abundant birdlife, make Lake Manyara world renowned among ornithologists.
      Dinner and overnight at Lake Manyara Serena Lodge.

      DAY 2: LAKE MANYARA – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
      Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast then depart for the Serengeti National Park via Olduvai Gorge where hominid footprints believed to be 3.6million years old were found.
      Arrive at Serengeti Serena lodge for lunch.
      Enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive. Covering an area of 14,763 square kilometres, the world famous Serengeti National Park is Tanzania’s oldest park, and one of the world’s last great wildlife refuges. It stretches as far as Lake Victoria to the West. Its name comes from the Maasai word Siringet, meaning ‘endless plains’. The park’s vegetation ranges from the short and long grass plains in the south, to the acacia savannah in the centre and wooded grasslands concentrated around the tributaries of the Grumeti and the Mara rivers in the park.

      DAY 03: SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
      Enjoy a full day in the Serengeti with game-viewing drives. Hundreds of predators roam the vast savannah plains.
      In the early morning and evening light, the Serengeti landscape is stunningly beautiful. The Serengeti ecosystem supports the greatest remaining concentration of plains game in Africa, including more than three million large mammals. It is the sanctuary of an estimated four million different animals and birds.
      All meals and overnight at Serengeti Serena Lodge.

      DAY 04: SERENGETI – NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
      After breakfast proceed towards the rim of the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater stopping occasionally to admire the breath-taking vista unfolding before you.
      Arrive for check in, thereafter lunch at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.
      This afternoon just relax and enjoy the panoramic views of the crater, the largest unbroken caldera in the world. It has been described as one of the great natural wonders of the world.
      Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.
      NOTE: Warm jacket/cardigan is highly recommended.

      DAY 5: NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA
      After breakfast descend some 600 metres into the crater, which is home to an abundance of wildlife and a photogenic paradise, for a full day of game-viewing drive with picnic lunch at a private scenic site. Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact caldera in the world teams with an abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Prides of lions, herds of Cape buffalo, impala, Thompson gazelles, rhino, giraffes, golden & black-backed jackal, zebra, cheetah, leopard and the spotted hyena. Unmatched for its natural variety & breath-taking beauty, there are few places on earth where such a tremendous diversity of landscapes exist inside a region this size. Apart from its wildlife riches, the crater is also of great archaeological importance, with the remains of some of mankind’s earliest ancestors discovered in the area, also a home to hundreds of bird species, refreshing in the small lakes in the crater floor.
      Return for dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Serena Lodge.

      DAY 6: NGORONGORO – KILIMANJARO – DEPART
      Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. And sadly you must say kwaheri to your wonderful lodge manager and his team as you depart for Arusha. Transfer to the airport for your onward flight.

          DAY 01:ARRIVAL – KIGALI – VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
          Meet and Greet Services by our representative, outside the Airport Arrivals section.
          After a short briefing, embark on a morning sight-seeing tour of Kigali City.
          At the end of the city tour, enjoy lunch at one of Kigali’s popular restaurants.
          After lunch, depart and drive north-west of the country to the Ruhengeri area – at the foothills of the Volcanoes Mountains. (94km, 2.5hrs)
          Arrive in the late afternoon, dinner and overnight at Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge

          DAY 02: VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
          Early breakfast at your lodge.
          After breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for registration of your gorilla trek and allocation of the particular gorilla family to visit.
          Your trek starts in the cultivated foothills of the Virunga’s offering stirring views in all directions. Trekking can take from two to six or more hours if the gorillas move before the park rangers locate them the next morning.
          The guides stop frequently to allow trekkers a chance to rest and take photos along the way.
          Upon sighting the gorillas, you will stay with them for a magical one-hour as they go about their daily life, feeding, playing,resting; raising their young.
          Coming face to face with a giant silverback must truly be one of the greatest wildlife experiences on earth!

          • A Walking Stick is provided at the start-point – to help steady your trekking.

          DAY 03:VOLCANOES – LAKE KIVU
          Breakfast at your lodge.
          Morning at leisure – one with nature under the shadows of the Volcanoes Mountains, with opportunity for a second gorilla trek or other of the optional activities available;
          Or take up the Golden Monkey trekking – the only other member of the primates species residing in the volcanoes.
          After lunch and before departing for Lake Kivu (time and weather permitting), you may wish to make a brief visit to the nearby spectacularly beautiful and picturesque Twin Lakes of Burera& Ruhondo.
          Later in the afternoon, depart and drive south-westwards – down the winding roads and through the beautiful, rolling hill-sides to the shores of Lake Kivu – Gisenyi. 65km – 1.5hrs
          Lake Kivu is the largest of numerous freshwater lakes that shimmer in the valleys of Rwanda.
          Set amid the dramatic mountains of the rift valley and the volcanic Volcanoes Mountains (Virungas) to the north, the irregular shores of Lake Kivu form numerous inlets and peninsulas and myriad forest-fringed waterfalls.The lake is a 2650 square kilometers freshwater expanse and the largest of all the lakes that fill the valleys of Rwanda.

          DAY 04: LAKE KIVU – KIGALI – DEPART
          Breakfast at your hotel.
          Spend the morning at leisure, on the shores of Lake Kivu – with opportunity for optional activities, such as:
          Swimming in the lake; Boat Ride; Boat Excursion; Water Sports, Biking, Hiking; or more orientation drive along the shores of Lake Kivu, with your driver-guide – including a visit to the hot springs and distant view of Rwanda’s Methane Gas Plant on Lake Kivu, e.t.c.

          Important Tips
          The Volcanoes area is located at an altitude of over 2,400 meters above sea level.It is extremely chilly in the early mornings and evenings – warm clothing is therefore necessary. While trekking, it can rain unexpectedly – it is necessary therefore to have:
          • Water-proof clothing (jacket, with hood + trousers);
          • Water-proof Zip-Lock bags for Cameras/Film/Passports/Money, e.t.c.;
          • Hand Gloves (warm and water-proof), to keep hands off from rain and dripping vegetation; as well as protect from stinging nettles
          • Hiking boots – with good mud-grip are most appropriate (shoes/boots of clothing material will certainly become wet and uncomfortable.
          • Gaiters – to protect your trek trouser legs and boots against mud/wetness;
          • Sun glasses not necessary during the trek;
          • Any valuables (carried on the person and not necessary during the trek), may be entrusted with your driver-guide for safe-keeping for the duration of the trek.

            DAY 01:ARRIVAL – KIGALI CITY
            Meet and Greet Services by our representative on arrival at the Kigali International Airport.
            Introductions and a short briefing, after which you will be transferred to your Kigali hotel for check-in.
            Rest of the day/afternoon and evening at leisure at your hotel, with dinner on own account.
            Dinner and overnight at Kigali Serena Hotel.

            DAY 02: KIGALI – NYUNGWE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
            Early breakfast at your hotel, followed by check-out.
            Morning depart and drive south-wards of Rwanda – to the historical towns of Nyanza and Butare (133km – 2.5hrs), for a short tour of their attractions.
            Nyanza became the royal capital of the country under the reign of King Yuhi V Musinga in 1899.
            The court became the home of the artistic and intellectual and was also a place for economic exchange. Today, a replica of the traditional Royal Palace sits at Rukari.
            Located about 35 kilometers south of Kigali, Butare provides a rich information base on the historic heritage of Rwanda.
            At the end of the tour, enjoy lunch at a Butare hotel or restaurant.
            After lunch, continue on your journey further south-wards, and then westwards and through the Nyungwe Forest, to arrive at your Nyungwe Forest Lodge in the early evening. 127km – 2.5hrs
            Evening at leisure at your lodge, with dinner included.
            Overnight at Nyungwe Forest Lodge.

            DAY 03: NYUNGWE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
            Early breakfast at your hotel (or take picnic breakfast).
            Depart early morning for transfer to the park office, for registration of your Chimpanzee trekking.
            About 500 chimpanzees live in the Nyungwe Forest. The trekking can take anything from a few hours to full day depending on where the chimpanzees are. Take note that it is not guaranteed to see the chimps as they are unpredictable and can move long distances in one day.
            At the end of the chimps trek, return to your hotel/lodge for freshening up and lunch.
            Afternoon is at leisure – for optional activities, such as the Canopy Adventure Hike.
            Dinner and overnight at Nyungwe Forest Lodge.

            DAY 04: NYUNGWE FOREST – VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
            Breakfast at your lodge, followed by check-out.
            Morning, depart Nyungwe Forest and take the scenic drive along and parallel to the shores of Lake Kivu to the central Lake Kivu town of Kibuye. 130km, 3hrs
            Lake Kivu is the largest of numerous freshwater lakes that shimmer in the valleys of Rwanda.
            Steep terraced hills lead down to the picturesque lake shore and the three resort towns – Gisenyi, Kibuye and Cyangugu.
            Arrive in Kibuye in the mid-morning, for a brief relaxation on the lake-shore, before lunch at a Kibuye hotel.
            (You may wish to undertake such optional activity as a Boat Ride or a 2-hour Boat Excursion to the Napoleon Island (Bat Island – residence of a large colony of bats)/Swimming in the Lake/Water Sports, e.t.c.)
            After lunch on the shores of Lake Kivu, depart and drive eastwards and then north-eastwards, to the Volcanoes Mountains region. 150km, 3.5hrs
            Arrive at your volcanoes lodge in the early evening, for check-in.

            DAY 05: VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK
            Early breakfast at your lodge.
            After breakfast, you will be transferred to the park headquarters for the gorilla trek registration and allocation of the particulargorilla family to visit.
            Your trek starts in the cultivated foothills of the Virunga’s offering stirring views in all directions.

            DAY 07: VOLCANOES – KIGALI – AKAGERA NATIONAL PARK

            Morning, drive back to Kigali arriving in the early afternoon – for lunch at one of Kigali’s popular restaurants.
            After lunch, depart and drive eastwards, towards the border with Tanzania, to the Akagera National Park. 150km, 2.5hrs
            Akagera National Park forms Rwanda’s eastern border with neighbor, Tanzania. It is scenically dominated by a labyrinth of swamps and lakesthat follow the meandering course of the Akagera River – the most remote source of the Nile; and is representative of the African savannah landscape – tangled acacia woodland interspersed with open grassland.
            The Akagera park is big game country – with herds of elephant and buffalo to be found in the woodland or converged by the lakes for water. If lucky, while on a game-drive, one may stumble across a leopard or a spotted hyena. Also found in plentiful numbers are: Giraffe, Zebra and various types of antelope, such as the chestnut-coated Impala, Oribi, the secretive Bushbuck, as well as the world’s largest antelope, the elegant Cape Eland.
            • Akagera National Park is also, once again, proud to host the King of the Jungle – reintroduced in July 2015, after a 20-year absence due to genocide.

              DAY 01:ARRIVAL – KIGALI CITY
              Meet and Greet Services by our representative on arrival at the Kigali International Airport.

              DAY 02: KIGALI – NYUNGWE FOREST NATIONAL PARK
              Early breakfast at your hotel, followed by check-out.
              Morning depart and drive south-wards of Rwanda – to the historical towns of Nyanza and Butare (133km – 2.5hrs), for a short tour of their attractions.
              Nyanza became the royal capital of the country under the reign of King Yuhi V Musinga in 1899.
              The court became the home of the artistic and intellectual and was also a place for economic exchange. Today, a replica of the traditional Royal Palace sits at Rukari.
              Located about 35 kilometers south of Kigali, Butare provides a rich information base on the historic heritage of Rwanda.
              At the end of the tour, enjoy lunch at a Butare hotel or restaurant.
              After lunch, continue on your journey further south-wards, and then westwards and through the Nyungwe Forest, to arrive at your Nyungwe Forest Lodge in the early evening. 127km – 2.5hrs

              DAY 03: NYUNGWE FOREST NATIONAL PARK

              About 500 chimpanzees live in the Nyungwe Forest. The trekking can take anything from a few hours to full day depending on where the chimpanzees are. Take note that it is not guaranteed to see the chimps as they are unpredictable and can move long distances in one day.
              At the end of the chimps trek, return to your hotel/lodge for freshening up and lunch.

              Lake Kivu is the largest of numerous freshwater lakes that shimmer in the valleys of Rwanda.
              Steep terraced hills lead down to the picturesque lake shore and the three resort towns – Gisenyi, Kibuye and Cyangugu.

                  Upon arrival in the Kenyan capital, you’ll be met by our representative and after a short briefing, transferred to Sarova Panafric Hotel.

                  DAY 02: NAIROBI – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK
                  After breakfast, your luggage will be loaded into the safari vehicle and you will be driven by our professional driver guide to Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley. This drive will take you through the Eastern walls of the Rift valley where you will stop for photography.
                  Arrive at Lake Nakuru National park for check-in at Sarova Lionhill Lodge where you will have a rest before lunch. Afternoon game viewing drive in the park.
                  Lake Nakuru is a shallow, alkaline lake, where flamingos flock to. When conditions are right, between one and two million lesser and greater flamingos feed around the shores of the shallow soda lake, together with tens of thousands of other birds. Over four hundred species of birds have been sighted at the park and it goes without saying that this is a bird watchers paradise.
                  The park is also home to the endangered white Rhino and the elegant Rothschild’s Giraffe.

                  DAY 04 & 05: MASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
                  You will have 02 full days to enjoy the hospitality of Mara Sarova Game Camp and the stunning gamedrives.
                  All meals are included in your package.
                  Widely considered to be Africa’s greatest wildlife reserve and the jewel in Africa’s crown, Maasai Mara is home to a spectacular array of wildlife. The open savannah, woodlands and tree-lined rivers create an eco-system that supports huge numbers of bird and mammal species. The western border of the park is the spectacular Siria Escarpment, dotted with acacia trees, creating scenery of stunning beauty. Lions are found in abundance throughout the park, as well as Elephant, Giraffe, Zebra, and a variety of Gazelle species. Cheetahs are regularly seen and, with luck, you may also find Rhino and the elusive Leopard.

                  DAY 06: MASAI MARA – NAIROBI – MOMBASA
                  Enjoy your buffet breakfast at the Camp. After breakfast you will be driven back to Nairobi. Arrival into Nairobi for lunch at the famous Carnivore Restaurant.
                  After lunch you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight to Mombasa.
                  Upon arrival in Mombasa, you will be met by our representative who will transfer you to Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa. Evening at leisure at the beach Resort.
                  Overnight at Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort and Spa.

                  DAY 07 & 08: MOMBASA
                  02 Full days to enjoy the sunshine by the swimming pool at the beautiful beach.
                  Breakfast and one meal are included in your package.
                  Optional activities are available from the Hotel’s front desk at extra cost. You can also book the extra activities with us in advance.
                  For dining and entertainment, you can choose from three themed superb restaurants, two great bars, and the exclusive Cocos Beach Bar, overlooking the beautiful Mombasa Ocean.                     DAY 01: NAIROBI
                    Upon arrival in the Kenyan capital, you’ll be met by our representative and after a short briefing, transferred to Safaripark Hotel.
                    The Safari Park Hotel – Set in the outskirts of Nairobi, is 15 minutes from the City Centre and 40 minutes from the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. This 5 star hotel is situated on a 64 acre property with numerous gardens alive with all types of tropical flowers. This hotel is built with a distinct African Architecture and Art.
                    All the rooms have direct dial telephone with internet connection, safes, Refrigerated minibar, Color Television with 08 channels, same day laundry service, 07 days a week. All the rooms have verandahs with a wonderful view of the lush gardens.
                    After check in you will have time to freshen up.
                    Dinner and overnight at Safaripark hotel.

                    DAY 02: NAIROBI – MAASAI MARA GAME RESERVE
                    After early breakfast you will check-out and you will be transferred to Wilson Airport for your flight to Maasai
                    Mara, the most famous game reserve in Kenya. Arrive at Ngerende Airstrip where you will be met and
                    transferred to the club.
